My VERY sweaty plant-based journey
Hi, I'm Anna!
I’m a 28 year old group fitness instructor that loves all things outdoors and fitness related. You will notice my heart is mostly focused on yoga, backpacking, triathlon, and getting muddy; but there isn’t a sport or groupX class I wouldn’t try!
I’m an AFAA certified group fitness instructor for Les Mills, Piyo Live, Turbokick, spin, and R.I.P.P.E.D. and I absolutely love it. I can’t imagine a better way to get sweaty than with a group of people that are dedicating themselves to health and fitness alongside me.
I discovered both fitness and plant-based eating in college as a way of avoiding the dreaded college weight gain and reducing my carbon footprint. I wanted to fuel my newly fit bod in a way that made me feel invincible and guilt-free.
I remember how scary it was to navigate stores, restaurants, and people my first few months of being an herbivore. I had no idea what I was doing and no guidance outside of haphazard internet searches. I had no idea how to eat plant-based, let alone FUEL that way!
Now that I have comfortably settled into the life of a plant-based triathlete, group fitness instructor, yogini, obstacle course racer, and sweaty generalist, I want to help others have the tools to be successful in fitness as well as fueling. Let me be your resource to a healthy lifestyle.
